Khabarovsk

Khabarovsk

8493 km | 5 days 15 hours 40 minutes
The history and development of Khabarovsk is owed to General-Governor of East Siberia, Murav'ev-Amursky. He became known as the 'father' of Khabarovsk because he established this new military settlement on the Amur River. The Governor called the new outpost Khabarovka in honor of one of the remarkable "pioneers" of the Amur land, Erofei Khabarov. For quite a long time the city remained a small port on the Amur River and a transportation spot of the long Siberian Way.
