Sightseeing Options in Ulaanbaatar (included into tour price)

(A) TUUL RIVERSIDE LODGE.
Approximately 35km (20 miles) east of Ulaanbaatar in the heartland of the Baga Khentii Mountains and south of the mighty Tuul River, is home to a beautiful location rich in natural beauty. In this charming wilderness a small tented camp has been established away from the tourist routes. Here you will have the opportunity to observe and explore a genuine nomadic environment with your trained guide.
(B) TERELJ NATIONAL PARK.
Located in central Mongolia, the Terelj national park is a popular getaway destination because of its stunning rock formations and forests and relative proximity from the capital (80km northeast). Visitors can spend a night here and then hike to another Ger camp (they are spaced 10 to 15 km apart). Among local attractions are famous “Turtle Rock”, man-made park with dinosaur statues and spectacular views of Tuul River valley.
(C) MANZHIR MONASTERY.
At a pre-arranged time you will be met by your driver and guide and driven to the southwest of the capital for about 46 km to Manzushir Monastery, which is within the Bogd Khaan National Park, one of the oldest National Parks in the World. It has enjoyed State protection since 1778. On arrival you will be able to hike, visit the local museum & have lunch there.
