(A) RULER OF THE EAST
City tour of Vladivostok covering all the main attractions of the city: Vladivostok Railway Station – terminus of the Trans-Siberian railroad, S-56 submarine on the harbor embankment, where the city was first-founded 142 years ago. You will also visit the highly regarded Arseniev Museum to view exhibits of the region’s rich treasure of flora and fauna as well as the culture and history of the Vladivostok area. In addition to the stops the tour will pass many historic, cultural and architectural landmarks that make up the flavor of Vladivostok.
(B) RUSSKAYA GORNITSA
The séance-excursion of Russian national traditions called "Russkaya Gornitsa" takes place in a stylized Russian chamber where the tourists are offered to taste tea balms prepared from Primorskii herbs and the age-old Russian drink "sbiten" undeservedly forgotten, listen to a story of the history of tea and national traditions. You can take a pleasant rest and learn many interesting things as well as the history of the Russian national dress and see beautiful girls wearing kokoshniks (woman's headdress in old Russia) and sarafans.
(C) FORT #7 OF VLADIVOSTOK FORTRESS
Excursion to one of the numerous forts of the Vladivostok Fortress, located on a hill 164 m above sea level. Vladivostok Fortress used to be considered one of the best and strongest coastal fortresses in the world, second to none in its fortifications. Fort #7, most part of which is situated underground, was recognized by foreign experts “the work of engineer art” in early years of its existence. You will have the opportunity to feel like the fortress defender walking along the numerous underground structures.
(D) DACHA TOUR
The visit to a “dacha” will offer an interesting insight into this aspect of Russian life. Originally developed in the Soviet period as a means to increase local food production, “dachas” are weekend cottages or summer cabins on small plots of land, which supply garden – grown vegetables and escape from the frenzy of life in a big city. Our dacha tour will pass through Vladivostok’s suburbs to a typical dacha community. A typical dacha lunch in the company of the hosts is also included.
